you've probably heard me mention the term "content vibe".

but what does that actually mean?

and why is it important for creators to think about it?

here's my two cents on it!

So essentially, as ive been working in this space longer and longer, I'm noticing that creators aren't just looking for an editor that just takes a payment, goes away for a few days and returns back with a video and a single message.

That's fine for some, but I think this often just produces slightly 'random' videos that don't really align with what I call a creators "content vibe".

Editing isn't just clicking buttons and cutting up clips - we're storytellers, and we're using the tools at our fingertips to tell a story.

How can we tell the story properly if we don't know what kind of story the creator wants to tell?

🤔 What sorts of content do creators actually want to make?❤️ What content makes their hearts soar?📸 How do they want to come across to their viewers through their content?⏰ What do they want to be known as?All of this is part of a creator's content vibe.

A ton of the value i've been able to provide for my current clients is in taking the time to sit down in calls, get hyped about the opportunities in front of us, and figure out exactly how we can make the best content possible.

For example, one of my clients right now really wants to embody the persona of a "dad gamer", as that's his passion and his motivation behind gaming and making videos. So, we've made that his pillar, and we build all of our thinking, future planning, scripting and editing around that pillar.

If we hadn't spent time at the beginning of the service thinking about this stuff, we would have just dived in and made random videos.Now, we have it all outlined and every decision we make aligns with this longterm vision.

This stuff becomes psychological in the viewer's minds as you grow; Jacksepticeye didn't tell viewers every video that he wanted to be known as the funny, over the top irish guy with wholesome jokes/stories.
But over time he became known as that, because he knew what his content vibe was.

When i look at all of the big creators I love; Jacksepticeye, Smallant, Pointcrow, Markiplier...all of them have their little pillars, niches, personalities and inside jokes.
All of them have what i call the content "vibe"/vision.And it worked!

This is where my offer, in my opinion, begins to go above and beyond your regular editors.I've found that a lot of creators have some ideas on what they want their content vibe to be, but they either:

  • Don't have the time to think about it properly

  • Or they need that second brain (who is just as invested and passionate about their content!) to bounce ideas back and forth with.
